Luke Norman is a former footballer for the Melbourne Football Club and former captain of West Adelaide. Norman joined Woodville-West Torrens as an assistant coach for a year before being appointed reserves coach of Sturt in 2007 to 2008 where he took the reserves to a premiership. Norman was then made senior coach in 2009 to 2011. Norman took the Double Blues to a grand final in 2009 but was sacked from the role at the end of the 2011 season, a shocked Norman did recruiting for the Brisbane Lions in SA later in 2012 but returned to coaching in 2013 when the Eagles requested his services as a midfield coach when Rhett Biglands stood down from his position.
Recruited from Wangaratta, Norman played 16 matches for Melbourne and scored three majors and played his final AFL match in 1996. Returning to Wangaratta then joining West Adelaide. Norman was appointed captain in 2004 and awarded the clubs best and fairest that year and continued to captain the club in 2005.
