Matthew Panos started his elite career with the Western Bulldogs after being recruited from Norwood. "Nos" spent 2011 and 2012 over at Footscray before returning to the Redlegs in 2013.

Panos would win the inaugural SANFL Powerade Challenge . Panos kicked a goal from 63 meters to get the top placing and won overall.
2014[]
Panos would start his 2014 season on a high after being named Best on Ground for the Redlegs in their 19 point win over Port Adelaide in round 1.
Panos had a quiet finals series but playing a terrific match against Port Adelaide in the 2014 SANFL Grand Final being awarded the Jack Oatey Medal.
