Michael Wundke is a current footballer for the Woodville-West Torrens Football Club and three time Ken Farmer Medalist (2011, 2013, 2014). Wundke was recruited by North Melbourne from 2008 to 2009.

North Adelaide[]

Wundke played for the Roosters in the SANFL in 2007 playing in 13 games and kicking 27 goals. He was recruited by North Melbourne in the off season.

North Melbourne[]

After a strong season in the VFL at aligned North Ballarat, which included 45 goals and a premiership, Wundke was elevated to the senior list for 2009. Despite a solid season and another VFL premiership, he was delisted by the Kangaroos at the conclusion of the season and returned to North Adelaide for 2010.

Return to North Adelaide[]

After struggling with fitness during the 2010 pre-season, Wundke’s first match for the was against South Adelaide in round four, where he kicked four goals in the Roosters comfortable win. Injury got hold of him soon after and he only managed four League matches for the season.

South Adelaide[]

Wundke would play for the Panthers from 2011 to 2013 winning two Ken Farmer Medals. In 2011, Wundke averaged 3.5 goals a game to win the award by 15 goals to Sturt's Matthew Duldig. Wundke became the Clubs first Ken Farmer medalist since 1995 when Danny Del-Re won the award with 92 goals. Also, Wundke along with five other teammates were selected in the Advertiser Team of the Year with Wundke at Full Forward. In 2013, Wundke was nominated for SANFL Mark of the Year as well as another Ken Farmer Medal. He decided to leave the club to the Eagles at the end of the season.

Woodville-West Torrens[]

Wundke's 2014 season with the Eagles would be very successful with the Eagles making finals. In his debut match against Central District in round one, Wundke kicked three goals. In round 18, Wundke made an 8 goal haul against West Adelaide passing South Adelaide's Brett Eddy who didn't score any goals against Sturt in round 18 giving Wundke his third Ken Farmer Medal.
